Summertime Fun Recycling Show | East Bay

From July 17 – 26, 2014, Evelyn Roth, internationally renowned eco-arts pioneer, textile and performance artist, will be in the East Bay for The Evelyn Roth Arts Residency.

See the full schedule of family and kid-friendly eco arts events, workshops, talks and performances. Many are free.

There will be 10 days of engaging, family friendly community arts and eco-events; most of them are free to the public, to focus public awareness on issues of climate change, global warming, vanishing species, pollution, and recycling. These will take place primarily at Expressions Gallery in Berkeley and at various East Bay venues including Oakland’s Uptown Art Park, Firehouse Art Event Hangar in Berkeley, East Bay senior and teen centers, and at the Oakland Zoo.

Come watch a fashion show of recycled wearable art at Expressions Gallery, featuring the award-winning designs and jewelry of Evelyn Roth and John Davis, along with that of outstanding Bay Area eco-couture designers. Music provided by Light and Sound, Billie and Pat Duffey. There will be refreshments too.
