St. Patrick’s Day Lush Green Forest & Pub Hike | Mt. Sutro Forest

Enjoy a little green before we get green: Mt Sutro Forest and Golden Gate Park then St. Pat’s celebration.

Meeting Point: We begin in Cole Valley on the corner of Parnassus and Willard Street.

Hike into Mt Sutro Forest (find the fairy gates) cross Claredon Avenue and head downhill to Tank Hill Park then back into Cole Valley to Golden Gate Park. We hike through the park exploring Lily Pond, AIDS Memorial, Stow Lake, and Strawberry Hill.

We will then venture into the Inner Richmond and end up at a pub — maybe Buckshot Bar & Gameroom where we can toast to the Irish.
