The European-American Youth Guitar Orchestra Tour: Frets Afire Performance | SF

Frets Afire, the European-American Youth Guitar Orchestra, will be touring California this summer. A dynamic group of 35 teenage guitarists from Stuttgart, Germany, Pasadena, California, and Santa Clara, California; they will be giving concerts in the Los Angeles, Santa Barbara and San Francisco areas. Blending sounds of power and subtlety, their music is an eclectic mix of classical, jazz, rock and even a little cartoon music.

The origin of this collaboration was a musical and cultural exchange program between the two groups, Guitarreando (Stuttgart, Germany) and the Los Angeles Youth Guitar Orchestra (Pasadena) started in 2013. Both groups visited each other, hosting concerts and social activities from which a friendship and strong bond were formed.
