Every Tuesday night, it’s super cheap movie night at the Sundance Kabuki in Japantown. As part of their “Student of Life” promotion, anyone can get $6 tickets for any movie screening on a Tuesday with no extra evil “amenities fees” or even booking fees if you buy tickets online.

Movies: All seats $6 (reserved seats, even booking online in advance)Popcorn: $6 large popcornSoda Pop: $2 for small soda, $3 for medium soda, $4 for large soda$3 candyHappy Hour (Mon-Thu) $7 well drinks, $6 beer, $6 food specials.
All seating is reserved, so there’s no need to rush. Plus many of the theaters are 21+, so you can drink and watch.
Pre-game tip: The drinks can be expensive at the theater bar (even during happy hour), so if you arrive in the neighborhood early, we recommend going to either 1300 Fillmore or Benihana’s which both have far superior happy hours.
