A.C.T.’s Fellowship Project: Orlando by Virginia Woolf | SF

The A.C.T. Fellowship Project of 2017 is proud to announce this year’s production of Orlando by Virginia Woolf, adapted by Sarah Ruhl.

Space is limited; you must RSVP to reserve your seats at the show. Email elewis@act-sf.org to RSVP with your name and number of seats.

Beautiful English aristocrat Orlando is a lover: of words, of poetry, and of women. After disastrously falling for a Russian princess, he tries to escape his heartache in Constantinople. But one morning, he awakens to find he is now a she. Orlando must now reconcile their sense of self with this new body.

From the pen of queer feminist icon Virginia Woolf and adapted by contemporary playwright Sarah Ruhl comes a magical, mysterious journey into the fluidity of gender and identity.
