The 20th Annual SF International Dragon Boat Festival is a free weekend of world-class dragon boat racing in the shadow of the new bay bridge, cultural performances, and family activities at the largest competitive dragon boat festival in the U.S.

Saturday & Sunday, September 19-20, 2015

The festival features upwards of 140 dragon boat teams and 4,000 dragon boat paddlers racing 500 and 300 meter courses.
In addition to the dragon boat racing, which features 20 paddlers per boat, each with a drummer and a steerer, the festival features there will be lion and dragon dances, taiko drumming, Tahitian dancing, martial arts, musical theater, Chinese acrobats, and much more. At the Kaiser Permanente Health and Fitness Pavilion, try the bicycle spin art, get an airbrush dragon tattoo, take a break at the sunscreen bar, and let your kids climb aboard a real dragon boat.
Free shuttles will run about every 15-20 minutes between the hours of 9:30 am and 4:30 pm. Shuttle buses can be taken from:
- Marriott Marquis (Mission St.)
- SF Chinatown (Kearny Street near Sacramento Street).
