CANCELED – Trivia Night at the Fox: Win Concert Tix | Oakland

EVENT CANCELED – As of May 2015, Trivia Night at the Fox is no longer taking place.

The Den at the Fox, a rather comfortable and stylish bar that’s attached to the Fox Theatre in Oakland, hosts a free trivia night on Tuesdays at 8 pm.

Like most pub quizes, the rounds include subjects like Current Events, Sports & Entertainment, Science, History, Geography, Music, Pictures, plus a weekly bonus round.

Unlike most trivia nights and pub quizes where you may win a few bucks or a round of drinks, you can win concert tickets for shows at the Fox Theatre including tickets to sold out shows.

And you don’t even have to win the whole quiz. Teams earn raffle tickets per questions/rounds answered correctly (and they also give you bonus raffle tickets for drinks purchased). Winner of the blind raffle draw at the end of the night gets four tickets to that week’s show as a prize.

What can you win? Every week, the prize changes based on who is playing at the Fox. Past shows they’ve given away tickets to include Outside Lands Music Festival, Modest Mouse, Crystal Castles, and Willie Nelson.
