Walk the free labyrinth at Grace North Church in Berkeley with 97 candles lighting the path, while listening to music every last Friday of the month.
The Winding Way musicians, an acoustic musical group featuring guitar, violin, cello, mandolin, piano and voice, will play songs from many world religions that inspire inner peace and hope while guests sit and listen, or walk.
Come rain or shine, because the labyrinth is located indoors. Open to all ages, faiths and walks of life. Enter at 2138 Cedar Street on the 2nd floor.
Since ancient times, the labyrinth has been a form of walking meditation and renewal. Walking the winding path reminds us that even though life has many twists and turns, we always end up at the center. A labyrinth is very different from a maze, because one curving path leads to the center and back to the beginning.
