Middle Eastern Theater: Pay-What-You-Can Night | SF

Golden Thread Productions, the Bay Area’s only Middle Eastern Theater Company is producing the West Coast Premier of Mona Mansour’s “Urge for Going” at Z Below Theater.

Written by an Arab–American playwright, “Urge “is a semi-auto-biographical celebration of family. Riotously funny and full of witty dialogue, Mansour’s work joyfully portrays a boisterous Palestinian household living inside a Lebanese refugee camp. “Urge for Going,” offers a refreshing perspective of refugee life, focusing on the bonds that strengthen a family, instead of the barriers set before them.

The play runs November 14–December 8, 2013 at Z Below (470 Florida St., San Francisco, 94110)
Thursdays are Pay-What-You-Can (11/14, 11/ 21 and 12/5), but $10 is recommended.

Please note, there is no performance on Thanksgiving 11/28/13 as had been previously listed.

Please note, this is event does not take place on Thanksgiving Day, November 28, 2013.
