Event Details

Japanese animation and comics have evolved in the period after World War II to a degree not seen elsewhere in the world. This presentation will be a condensed historical review of the development of contemporary anime and manga.

How they changed from works aimed at children to award winning and internationally recognized mediums for storytelling for all ages. Included will be how changes in the market, society and the audience shaped anime and manga in Japan.
