Stopping off in Oakland on a nationwide tour, Finishing School’s Executive Order Karaoke explores the intersection of satire, performance, and politics.

Audience members get a chance to sing popular karaoke tunes, such as “Eye of the Tiger,” “Rainbow Connection,” and “All Along the Watchtower,” but with lyrics drawn from President Barack Obama’s Executive Orders. It’s maybe just absurd enough for this election season. They’ll be giving away prizes for Best Performance and Best Patriotic Costume, so come ready to party.
