Exhibit: New Typography from Switzerland | SF swissnex San Francisco should be able to satisfy your appetite for type design with its upcoming exhibition, Types We Can Make.

Types We Can Make is all about the confrontation between this contemporary approach and the classics.

Curated by master typographer François Rappo and former ECAL director, Pierre Keller, the exhibition presents a selection of new typography works from Switzerland, where type design has had the status of high art for generations. Young Swiss designers today confront this long tradition with irreverence, humor, and boldly creative strokes using digital and traditional design tools.

Exhibition runs from May 3 – June 15, 2012. Hours: Monday–Friday, 9 am to 5 pm
