Event Details

Freespace Pop-Up Community Center

Freespace is a pop-up community center focused on hacking the civic experience. It is hosted in a 14,000 sqft warehouse in S0Ma, San Francisco, envisioned and implemented entirely by you.

Freespace was originally just a one month project, but it was extended to two months thanks to successful Indiegogo campaign. They’re now open periodically (check their schedule). They host a wide array of events and projects like classes, music, art, silent discos, yoga, a free bikeshare, community engagement and field trips, and more than a few silly costumes.

Faces of Burma: Outdoor Art Showing | Freespace Pop-Up Community Center

Explore the Faces of Burma, an outdoor art showing displaying photography of Michael Margolis in the freespace art lot.

Come prepared to journey through Burma, as there are some moving images of Michael’s travels.

As usual, there will be art, music, couches, drinks (sans-alcohol), and good times to be had.
