Event Details

Join the SFAC Galleries for a free, family friendly event with Cardboard Institute of Technology (CIT) collective member, Mike Murnane, on Sunday, August 18, 2013.

Free, but an RSVP is required to aimee.leduc@sfgov.org or (415) 554-6080.

Murnane will lead activities at cardboard creation stations where participants can let their imaginations run wild. The stations will be set up in front of CIT’s new installation Trudge, featuring a mastodon of the recycled cardboard variety stomping through a cardboard Jurassic landscape.

Founded in 2007 by Joshua Short and Scott Falkowski, CIT is a self-described “collective of artists, technologists, and handymen dedicated to the development, functionality, and everyday practice of art…through cardboard and other means.”
