Come in your pirate hat or mermaid tail and with your own personal tea cup, and get ready for “Under the Sea” Tea Time in the Panhandle.
Tea and treats will be provided, but please bring a dish, drink, or treat to share. This events is BYOB, so bring beverages or something fun to spike your tea with. Bring your own tea cup.
Free, but an RSVP is required.
Along with tasty finger foods and a relaxing, yet high end picnic spot, there will be park entertainment provided by Cuddlefish which may (or may not) include pre-show serenades, mermaid myths, dance performance, a song of Surfer Bondage, a riveting reading of “Squirt, the Magic Cuddlefish,” and more.
The party and refreshment begin at 2 pm, and please try and make it before 2:30 pm as the “curtains” will raise shortly after.
Depending on the weather, there will be either hot tea or cold tea available.
Location: The tea spot will be in the middle grass area of the Panhandle between Masonic and Central. Look for a white shade structure and lovely tapestries.
The event is put on by Cuddlefish productions, a collaborative creative event group focused on cultivating community and expression through performance, visual arts, interaction, music, knowledge, ritual and dance.
