Watch out, San Francisco. Burlesque star Juicy D. Light is ready to give you a reason to dance at the Powell St. cable car turnaround precisely at noon on Saturday, May 3, 2014.
The Fat Flash Mob is a day to reclaim your bodies as well as take up all the space you desire by dancing in public to “Happy” by Pharrell. The flash mob comes just in time for International Health and Fitness Month and just before International No Diet Day (May 6).
Organized by Juicy D. Light, founder and artistic director of internationally known fat burlesque troupe Rubenesque Burlesque, this flash mob will include size activists, professional dancers, and anyone who is happy to just dance.
