Opera on Tap: Non-stuffy Opera Sung Live in a Bar | SF

Opera on Tap is a non-profit organization whose mission is to break down the stereo-type that opera is a stuffy or an elitist art form, by bringing it to bars.

Local singers let their hair down and bring you into what feels like an after hours back stage party, singing some of opera’s best known and little known pieces in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere.

This month your Opera on the Spot singers will be performing their personal favorite arias and art songs. Have a favorite of your own? At the end of their show, let them know and they may perform it for you.

Enjoy dinner or drinks while listening to your Bay Area pop-up opera troupe performs arias and art songs at Italian Restaurant, Caffe Delle Stelle. Performance is free, reservations are recommended. Call the restaurant at (415) 252-1110 to make your reservation.
