Event Details

Join four Bay Area literary greats to mark the anniversary of Gabriel Garcia Marquez’s masterpiece, One Hundred Years of Solitude, first published in Buenos Aires in 1967. The novel has been translated into 37 languages and is considered, after Cervantes’ Don Quixote, the most important work in the history of Spanish literature.

The program will feature local authors Achy Obejas, Scott Esposito, Stephen Kessler, and Stanford University Professor Ramón Saldívar.
