Oakland Arts Project Meet & Greet | Mosswood Park

Do you love art, community building, and the Bay Area’s unique creative scenes? Then come learn about FIGMENT and how you can take part in the creation of this new-to-the-Bay-Area interactive art event.

Meet in the Mosswood Park Amphitheater.

FIGMENT is a free, all day, outdoor event dedicated to decommodifying access to the arts and bringing communities together through the participatory interactions. A fixture on the East Coast art event scene, this will be the second FIGMENT on the west coast and the first representing the creative output of the Bay Area community.

FIGMENT Oakland will take place November 8th, 2014 in beautiful Mosswood Park, not far from Macarthur BART.
They’re looking for people who enjoy working event production, throwing fundraisers, creating art and performances, doing community outreach, and so much more. If that sounds like you – or you’re simply curious about the project – they would love to see you at this Meet & Greet.
