Shakespeare’s “Midsummer Night’s Dream” In The Park | Berkeley

Inferno Theatre presents William Shakespeare’s Midsummer Night’s Dream for free in Berkeley’s John Hinkel Park Amphitheatre. This production transports the audience to an enchanted forest world using music, movement, magic and Shakespeare’s language.

2017 Performance Dates
All performances start at 4 pm

  • Saturday and Sunday, July 22nd & 23rd
  • Saturday and Sunday, July 29th & 30th
  • Saturday and Sunday, August 5th & 6th
  • Saturday and Sunday, August 12th & 13th

The performances take place in the intimate and beautiful John Hinkel Park in the Berkeley Hills. Bring pillows, pads, or low lawnchairs. The amphitheater opens at 3 pm for picnicking.

The first few rows of the amphitheater will be reserved as a courtesy especially for those with limited mobility. Call 510-229-8137 or e-mail infernotheatrecompany@gmail.com to reserve one of those spots. The amphitheater is wheelchair accessible – access is best from Somerset Place, take Southampton from Arlington and continue straight onto Somerset Place.
