One Billion Rising 2018: Flashmob to End Violence Against Women
On February, one billion women and those who love them will walk out, dance, rise up and demand an end to violence against women and girls.
One Billion Rising For Justice is a call to survivors to break the silence and release their stories. The campaign is a recognition that we cannot end violence against women without looking at the intersection of poverty, racism, war, the plunder of the environment, capitalism, imperialism, and patriarchy.

Come watch a flash mob performed in Justin Herman Plaza in solidarity with Eve Ensler’s Global initiative One Billion Rising. The flash mob will be professionaly filmed.
Free to watch, but RSVP is required to participate.

One Billion Rising is part of Her Rising, a transformational community founded by Dancing Without Borders focused on empowering the feminine and ending oppression and violence against women. The Her Rising Community weaves together dance, art, healing and activism through many different communities, modalities and traditions of the Bay Area and around the world.
