Event Details

San Francisco Fleet Week, the SF Department of Emergency Management and the Port of San Francisco are partnering in a training exercise with the U.S. Navy on Mon. Oct. 5.

The Rehearsal of Concept Drill will feature two civilian and two military disaster response vehicles as they are off-loaded from a U.S. Navy landing vessel adjacent to the Mariposa Yacht Club. Concurrently eight disaster response vehicles will load onto a ship docked at Pier 50.

Marines and sailors are prepare for a disaster training exercise involving 20 different agencies at Pier 50. The military and civic agencies have partnered together during Fleet Week to better prepare how they would work together in the event of a major earthquake or disaster.

You’re invited to view the training in its entirety on Monday, October 5, 2015 near the Mariposa Yacht Club from 9-10 a.m.
