Think you’re pretty good at ping pong? Let’s find out.
Enjoy free play from 5-7 pm, but bring your A game to the tournament at 7 pm.
The Folsom Street Ping Pong Championships will be a continuing series of events at Folsom Street Foundry – a huge space that’s perfect for ping-pongery.
The series kicks off Monday, March 3, 2014 with a good old fashioned Doubles Tournament; it’s $10 per team to play. If you don’t have your own paddle, they’ll have several loaners on hand as long as you arrive early.
Traditional ping pong rules apply (this isn’t “Berlin Style”), with these additional specifics:
- Determine serve with “pick-a-hand” before each game
- First team to 11 wins the game
- Switch serve every 2 points
Winners are promised a sick trophy, a round of drinks, and bragging rights.
