Free Friday Night Bands at Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk | 2019
Every summer, Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk casts its net and drags in a host of Top 40 bands from the ’70s, ’80s, and early ’90s to play free concerts right on the beach every Friday night.

More than three decades have passed since Grammy-award winning Los Lobos released their debut album and a worldwide smash single, “La Bamba.”
Since then they’ve consistently evolved artistically while never losing sight of their humble roots. Perez, the band’s drummer, once called their powerhouse mix of rock, Tex-Mex, country, folk, R&B, blues and traditional Spanish and Mexican music “the soundtrack of the barrio.”
They offer two shows. One at 6:30 and another at 8:30.
