This course teaches lay rescuers how to recognize and treat life-threatening emergencies, including cardiac arrest and choking for adult, child and infant victims. Rescuers will learn to recognize the warning signs of heart attack, stroke and breathing difficulties. Students also learn how to perform CPR using a barrier device and how to effectively use an AED (Automated External Defibrillator).

ASHI CPR/AED certification card for Adult and Child is issued after all class requirements are met. Certification card is valid for two years. Classes at our Presidio store are every Wednesday from 5:00pm-8:30pm.

NOTE: Class size is limited and pre-registration is required. Registration opens one month in advance; for example, if you want to register for a class in November, please send an email in October. Email your name, address, phone number and preferred class date to sb.cpr.pre@sportsbasement.com to request a space in this class.
