Host and show creator Red Scott likes to explore the myriad of ways an individual can be indoors and fully protected from the sun. His podcast discussing Game of Thrones, “Boars, Gore, and Swords” has twice been featured on BoingBoing. He performs all over the Bay Area, and is a paid regular at The San Francisco Punch Line, The San Jose Improv, and Rooster T Feathers. He has performed in SF Sketchfest and is the winner of the 2010 Rooster T Feathers comedy competition.
John Ross has since been featured at clubs all over the West Coast, including, The SF and Sacramento Punch Lines, The Purple Onion, Laughs Unlimited, Seattle’s Comedy Underground, The Bagdad Theater, The Crest Theater, The LA and La Jolla Comedy Store, Pepperbelly’s, and The Tempe and San Jose Improvs. He also toured with The Coexist Comedy Tour from 2007 to 2009 and is a weekly contributing writer for The Bob and Tom Radio Show.
Jason Armenio is everyone’s favorite Black, Filipino, & Italian comedian (sadly, there really wasn’t much of a choice). It should come as no surprise, then, that his childhood dream was to open the west coast’s first unionized barber shop/lumpia market. This Soultino funny guy enjoys sharing laughs with audiences, basketball, and soft core porn with unexpected plot twists. A father of two, Jason’s family life serves as ammunition for many of his live sets. If you don’t laugh while watching Jason perform, he promises to wear different clothes the next time you see him.
Land Smith tells jokes.
Ryan Cronin is frequently found at Murphy’s Pub, sometimes for comedy shows with his troupe Nightlife on Mars but mostly because he is Irish and it’s an Irish pub. Cronin’s impressions, obscure references and wacky characters have made him the fun fat man with a heart of gold beloved by audiences all over the Bay Area.
Draft beers are $1 off during our shows, and Murphy’s has an awesome selection.
Show takes place in a private room in the lower level of Murphy’s Pub, 217 Kearny St (b/t Sutter and Bush).
