“The City” Free Concert Night | SF
“The City” is a free live concert series taking place at different locations in San Francisco each month.
They often offer free drinks and music raffles, so check each event for details. An RSVP is always required to get in to this party.
The Trims and Animal Super Species will be performing live at Milk Bar (1840 Haight St) for The City: SF Sounds’ monthly party on April 24, 2014.
Free, but an RSVP is required. You must “like” The City on Facebook in order to RSVP.
The Trims describe themselves as an Indie/Dance/Post-Punk band. They have a strong sound reminiscent of early U2, and the brit pop of the ’80s-’90s, while also conjuring the swagger of artists like Joy Division and The Doors. Blend that style with over-sexed lyrics about all things scandalous, and you have the identity that defines The Trims.
Animal Super Species make indie pop, rock and beats in their Santa Cruz basement/cave/dungeon.
