The Museum of Craft and Design and Help Portrait join forces at the Bayview Opera House for the Third Annual Help Portrait event where you can enjoy free family portraits and holiday activities from 11 am to 4 pm on Saturday, December 7, 2013.
Free, but an RSVP is appreciated. To reserve a photo appointment, call BVOH at 415-824-0386.
First Exposure is bringing in donated equipment by Calumet and their year-round youth photography students along with their adult mentors to take family pictures. Low-income families and individuals are encouraged to bring everyone in the family, grandparents, grandkids and everyone in between.
Noon to 3 pm: Family Arts Day
Enjoy the Unity Parade on Oakdale with historic cars and free food provided by the YMCA.
Let MCD help you create a button greeting card at their craft booth. Create some art with Dare to Dream teaching artists, visit Santa, and get a stocking, assembled with by volunteers.
Please note, the free portraits are meant for those who are truly in need, so that during the holidays, they can get a professional family portrait keepsake made.
