Event Details

First Exposures, an SF mentoring program providing free photography classes to underserved youth, hosts its annual Help Portrait Day when families can get their portrait taken for free at the Bayview Opera House from 11 am to 4 pm on Saturday, December 3, 2016.

Free, but an RSVP is required.

The First Exposures site is unique as the program youth will be the main photographers. In 2013 they helped over 700 members of the community get their portrait taken.

In addition, Bayview Opera House will also be hosting the Willie B. Kennedy Unity Parade on our outside stage from 10:30 am-12:30 pm, featuring live music and performers from various Bay Area high school bands.

Please Note: The free portraits are meant for those who are truly in need, so that during the holidays, they can get a professional family portrait keepsake made. Consider donating your time or money to help out this great project.

Disclaimer: Please double check event information with the event organizer as events can be canceled, details can change after they are added to our calendar, and errors do occur.
