By - posted 10/15/2015 No Comment

To celebrate the 10th anniversary of their remodeled home in Golden Gate Park, the entire museum (not just the permanent galleries) will be free from 10am to 10pm.

The de Young hosts 12 hours of live music, performances, art-making and free admission – including our special exhibitions ‘Jewel City: Art from San Francisco’s Panama-Pacific International Exposition’ and ‘Royal Hawaiian Featherwork: Nā Hulu Ali‘i.’

Free Timed Tickets to “Jewel City”

We can’t stress enough how rare of an event this is. The de Young NEVER has free days for their special exhibits (usually free days are for the permanent galleries). You’ll get admission to Royal Hawaiian Featherwork: Nā Hulu Ali‘i as well as opening day of Jewel City: Art form San Francisco’s Panama-Pacific International Exposition at the Herbst Exhibition Galleries.
