Free Hot Dog Day | Inner Richmond
Sadly, the Frankenart Mart closed in February 2016 after 10 fun years.
The Frankenart Mart is a quirky “only in San Francisco” type of art gallery in the Inner Richmond. Not only do they have curious one-of-a-kind participatory art projects, but once a month there’s free hot dogs. Cat hair toppings are available.
Keep in mind, this is a teeny tiny (250 sq. feet) art gallery. So if you’re interested in strange and wonderful little art projects, this is a fun place to spend part of your Sunday and munch on a free dog.
For your Halloween sugar hangover, have some hair of the dog (or hair on your dog) at Frankenart’s hot dog day with a full root beer bar. These ain’t root beers for your toddler. These are strong cowboy root beers.
Their old west saloon will host Mike Billo on guitar around 1 pm and Shoot ‘Em Up Yoga with Sara Wellock around 4 pm. The cat brothel should be up and running by then. Horses are welcome.
BYOIC – Bring your own ice cream to make root beer floats, of course.
