Free Hot Dog Day | Inner Richmond
Sadly, the Frankenart Mart closed in February 2016 after 10 fun years.
The Frankenart Mart is a quirky “only in San Francisco” type of art gallery in the Inner Richmond. Not only do they have curious one-of-a-kind participatory art projects, but once a month there’s free hot dogs. Cat hair toppings are available.
Keep in mind, this is a teeny tiny (250 sq. feet) art gallery. So if you’re interested in strange and wonderful little art projects, this is a fun place to spend part of your Sunday and munch on a free dog.
Hot Dog Day at the Gift Theater
This Hot Dog Day, visitors will be asked to make gifts for the Gift Theater while they chomp on their free hot dogs (beef and veggie available). Gift Theater “performances” will occur sporadically throughout the day (whenever the Great and Terrible Oz decides).
Be prepared to participate. Gifted and talented folks welcome.
