Event Details

Ever noticed those big birds that nest in downtown Oakland? Maybe you’ve heard them squawking…. or even seen their poop on your car?

Take a walk with Golden Gate Audubon and the Rotary Nature Center to visit the heron and egret nests in our city and learn more about these special birds. There’s more to them than just noise and droppings.

All ages welcome; the walk will be geared toward adults. We will go on a short walk from the Oakland Main Library to the nest sites nearby.

Bring binoculars if you have them. Some binoculars will be available for borrow.

Visit www.goldengateaudubon.org for more information.
