How to Get Free Tickets

Funcheap readers can get unlimited free tickets to all shows from August 26-29, 2015.

Important: Follow the instructions below. The steps you must go through on the ticketing website are not obvious or intuitive, but these are the steps that have been established by Brown Paper Tickets–and so they must be followed to receive free admission.

  1. After choosing the number of tickets, click on the button “enter a password or discount code.”
  2. Enter the promo code CODECAST and then click on the button which says “Show Available Tickets”
  3. This refreshes the page, and now at the top or the window there is a line highlighted in yellow which shows free admission tickets. Go to this line and enter the number of tickets again on that yellow line and then go through the check out process. If you choose to have the tickets waiting for you at will call, the tickets will be free, with no service charge.

Breaking The Code by Hugh Whitemore is a gripping biographical drama about homosexual scientist Alan Turing, the eccentric genius who fought on two fronts. Turing played a major role in winning the World War II, and he also battled with British morality. He broke the complex German code called Enigma, enabling allied forces to foresee Nazi u-boat maneuvers.

Since his work was classified top secret for years after the war, no one knew how much was owed to him when he was put on trial for breaking another code – the taboo against homosexuality. Turing, who was also the first to conceive of and basically invent the computer, the machine that forever altered our modern world, was convicted of the criminal act of homosexuality and sentenced to undergo hormone treatments which left him physically and mentally debilitated. He died a suicide, forgotten and alone.
