Free Tickets: Golfs 112th U.S. Open (June 11 17) | San FranciscoThe world’s best golfers come to San Francisco to compete in the 112th U.S. Open at The Olympic Club in Lake Merced on June 11-17, 2012.

Tickets to the grounds to watch the 2012 tournament range from $50 to $125 per day (if you can even get them – the U.S. Open has sold out for 25 straight years)

>> All you have to do is volunteer to work the event.

Yes, this requires actual work for an 8-hour shift (you’ll help out with selling food & concessions) but there’s a flexible schedule with lots of shifts to choose from, they make sure that you have a decent amount of  breaks, a free meal and once your shift is over (or before it begins), you are free to enjoy the tournament the rest of the day. Not bad if you’re a golf fan, or even if you just want to be part of this world-class event that rarely comes to San Francisco so you can make your friends jealous back home as they watch you on TV.
