Nightlife on Mars is a weekly comedy show at Murphy’s Pub, produced by local comics Joe Nguyen, Red Scott, and Natasha Muse.

The three members of Nightlife on Mars are the triptych that represents the spiritual base of the San Francisco comedy scene. Between them, they’ve performed with comic talents ranging from Robin Williams to Wyatt Cenac, and have been featured by the SF Weekly, The Daily Mail, and KALW.

The show takes place in a private room in Murphy’s Pub.

Comedy Lineup: February 21, 2013

• Jason Armenio – Jason is everyone’s favorite Black, Filipino, and Italian comedian (sadly, there really wasn’t much of a choice). It should come as no surprise then that his childhood dream was to open the west coast’s first unionized barber shop/lumpia market. This Soultino funny guy enjoys sharing laughs with audiences, basketball, and soft core porn with unexpected plot twists. A father of two, Jason’s family life serves as ammunition for many of his live sets.
• Yuri Kagan – Yuri grew up in San Diego. He later moved to San Francisco where he graduated from San Francisco State University. Yuri is a dry-humor, observational, dead-pan comedian. Growing up in a Russian/Jewish-immigrant family adds to his comedy point of view. 
• Duat Mai – a Bay Area favorite, performing at clubs such as the Purple Onion and SF Punch Line as well as the LA Comedy Store
• Ryan Papazian – Ryan is a stand up comedian that hails from Orange County, California. Ryan began his comedy career when he was 18 at an open mic at the Hollywood Improv in 2008. He has performed numerous times at the Purple Onion and represented SF State in the National College Comedy Competition.
