Free Vegetarian Dinner Night (SF)

On Hiatus until at least October 2021

VolxKuche or Free-Cafe SF is a free supper club held on the second Thursday and fourth Thursday of the month with dinner served starting at 6 pm. The food will be vegan when possible, and always vegetarian.

They often host live entertainment, so keep an eye out on their Facebook page to find out what they have lined up. Come to enjoy supper or volunteer by performing, showing a video/film, cooking, serving, or helping clean. All are encouraged to be involved. No monetary donations are accepted.

Volxkuche seeks to be a place where friends, strangers and neighbors can gather to share food, good company and entertainment. This is a free event, run by volunteers desiring a healthy society where people from all walks of life share food and culture as compassionate beings. A safe and sober place, safe for kids, free from oppressive behavior and discrimination. It is an occasion for inspired self expression and interaction with others.

Free Vegetarian Dinner Night (SF)

Scott Holiday, the madhouse minstrel will entertain the diners on April 24, 2015. Scott can sing and play a variety of songs from the 30/40’s to the present. Whether you want the Beatles or the bossanova, Sinatra or Sam Cooke, Louie Armstrong or Duke Ellington, Roy Orbison or Ray Charles, or even Green Day, Sugar Ray, and David Gray, Scott is comfortable singing and playing many styles.

Scott Holiday has performed solo and with bands throughout the San Francisco Bay Area for 15 years at many weddings, parties, and clubs.
