Please note, this event is no longer taking place.

Every third Thursday of the month come out to the Lookout for Full-Frontal Comedy Showcase at The Lookout in the Castro.

It’s the new comedy with a touch of drag variety show all the kids are talking about hosted by comics Valerie Branch and Yuri Kagan.

Entrance is a suggested donation of $5. A portion of proceeds go to Margaret Cho’s #BeRobin project to help San Francisco’s homeless.

May 21, 2015 Lineup:
Sandra Risser:  Our headliner is a semi-finalist at The World Series of Comedy and regularly hosts shows at the San Francisco Punchline! Sandra is smart, funny and older than Twinkies. She’s eccentric not crazy, drives in the fast lane and can still bench press 500 grams. She believes in the tooth fairy, Santa Claus and clean underwear. Her Motto: If you miss your ex, reload and fire again!.
Justin Lucas: His humor ranges from making fun of his Filipino heritage, to capturing the voice of a sex line phone girl, to generally being fabulous. Justin won 1st runner up for the 2013 Bay Area Black Comedy Competition, and performs at the San Jose Improv, and the San Francisco Punch Line.
Joe Gorman: is a fast-rising star in the San Francisco comedy scene. He is seen frequently at San Francisco’s Punchline, Cobb’s Comedy Club, and the San Jose Improv. Most recently he was a part of San Francisco Sketchfest.
Co-producer and Host, Yuri Kagan is a nice Jewish boy – or at least that’s what it says on the JDate profile his mother created for him. Yuri is a dry-humor, observational, dead-pan comedian who talks about growing up with an entire family from the Soviet Union without holding anything back. He has been profiled in SF Weekly and the Vallejo Daily Republic. He just published his first book Vodka and Limelight.
Co-producer and Host, Valerie Branch is “The Den Mother of Bay Area comedy.” Valerie currently produces and hosts The Naughty List at the R3 Resort, Sunday Funnies at Club 1220 in Walnut Creek, in addition to her weekly radio show, Branching Out With Valerie on Ozcat Radio, and frequently performs in her drag queen persona as Pia Messing.
