FUNgeon: Comedy Night at the Armory Club | SoMa

San Francisco comedians and local hair/mustache icons Connor Marshall (Dr. Fart Comic) and Andrew Holmgren (VICE) are gearing up to bring you another raucous edition of FUNgeon: the most fun you can have in the basement of a porn company-owned cocktail bar while keeping your clothes on.

Connor and Andrew present an evening of some of their favorite comedians. Free admission, tip jar for comics.

Jessica Sele
Jessica Sele is a deeply weird human being and stand-up comedian living in San Francisco, CA. She has performed at festivals including Bridgetown Comedy Festival and SF Sketchfest. Jessica co-produces a popular weekly show every Thursday in San Francisco in the Cine Cave at Lost Weekend Video called the Mission Position and can also be seen at the San Francisco Punchline and Cobbs Comedy Club among others. Her subject material ranges from sexuality to living in the end times to mental health issues and their related substance abuse habits, etc… She was described by Bitch Magazine as a “hilarious and talented queer woman.”

Cameron Vannini
Cameron Vannini is a young, up and coming San Francisco based comedian. His sarcastic sense of humor and hilarious ability to share and examine his real life experiences, makes him a favorite in the bay area by both audiences & fellow comics alike. Having performed all over the country, Cameron is a regular at both the San Francisco Punch Line & Cobb’s Comedy Club. He has also graced the stage at venues such as The Comedy Store & The San Jose Improv.

Cameron has also had the honor of being a selected performer in numerous comedy festivals including the 2013 and 2014 SF Sketchfests, SXSW, The Sacramento Comedy Festival, and The San Francisco International Comedy Competition. He also co-produces a weekly comedy show at The Night Light in Oakland.

Ben Kolina
Ben Kolina had his first experience getting laughs from strangers at the expense of visiting outfielders in the Right Field Bleachers of the Oakland Coliseum. Currently Ben is a co-producer of a popular weekly comedy showcase at the Night Light in Oakland. As a Stand Up Comedian Ben has performed at Comedy Clubs, Colleges and Festivals up and down the west coast. Ben was recently featured on Hulu’s ‘Qick Laffs’ and has recently performed at the Santa Cruz Fringe Festival (2014), the 10,000 Laughs Festival in Minneapolis (2014) and SF Sketchfest (2015).

Juan Medina
Juan Medina brings a robust 4-years of stand-up performing & producing experience. Venue credits include the world famous San Francisco Punchline, Cobb’s Comedy Club, & The Comedy Store in Los Angeles. Also, he’s been a panelist/performer for SF Indie Fest, & Spanish content-translator for SF Comedy & Burrito Festival. A native of San Francisco, Juan attended the Academy of Art University, studying Copywriting, utilizing those writing skills to create vivid & hilarious jokes. Juan’s onstage presence is that of a leader, passionately professing his perspective with self-deprecating humility.
