Canceled: Funkytown: Tuesday Night Roller Disco Party | Mission Dist.
Come join D. Miles, the GodFather of Skate in San Francisco, the roller skaters from Golden Gate Park, and the Black Rock Roller Disco for Funkytown – a fun Tuesday night skating experience.
Come roll to a mix of funk, disco and R&B that will change your concept of fun on a Tuesday night. Learn skate dances and moves such as the “Cupid Shuffle,” the “Cha Cha Slide,” the “Electric Slide” and more.
They have free sodas, juices and water (sorry, no free margaritas anymore); but plus feel free to BYOB. Roller skate rentals are available for $5, if you need them.
Please not that Funkytown is no longer taking place at The Inner Mission

Please note, Funkytown takes place “most” Tuesdays, but may be canceled for a variety of reasons including the organizers being off at Burning Man. We recommend you always check the Funkytown website first before attending.
Due to the organizers being at Burning Man, Funkytown will not take place from August 18-September 4, 2013.
But don’t worry, we’re told they’ll be back with batteries recharged and back up and running September 10, 2013.
*Regular price, $10. Includes free soda, juices & water while supplies last and a $5 skate rental fee.
