The Girl Genius Ball – a Steampunk/Gaslamp Fantasy Ball is inspired by the classic online graphic novel “Girl Genius.”

After dance lessons at 7 pm, the celebrated Celtic Fusion rock band Avalon Rising plays an evening of Victorian Steampunk dance music – from waltzes and polkas to Steampunk line and set dances (all pattern dances will be taught and called).

Enjoy a light snack buffet (potluck contributions welcome), and a special performances by the Alameda Vintage Dancers and the Peerless Music Hall.
