Pocket Gems and Girls in Tech are hosting a discussion with games industry experts on inclusion in gaming. The panel will discuss practical tips on supporting gender diversity at gaming companies.
Free, but an RSVP is required and a $5 donation is encouraged. All proceeds from the event will go to Girls Who Code.
Topics to be discussed:
- How to create a space for diversity at your company
- Tangible benefits of having a more diverse workplace
- Tips for empowering women, people of color, LGBT community at your company
- How to ensure different voices have a space in the creative process
- Tips for women to break into the games industry
- How can the current perception of the games industry be shaped for the positive
- How can the well represented groups help raise awareness for other underrepresented groups
