Event Details

Be a part of the live audience for a special MSNBC town hall event. Recode’s Kara Swisher and MSNBC’s Ari Melber will co-host this special broadcast featuring Google CEO Sundar Pichai and YouTube CEO Susan Wojcicki.

This dynamic discussion will focus on Google, YouTube, and the impact of advances in technology and the broader policy landscape on the workplace. From artificial intelligence to robotics and automation, the panel will examine the potential challenges and successes of tech’s disruption of the workplace, and what it means for the future of the country.

Potential topics include:

  • How are automation and artificial intelligence changing our workplace?
  • What responsibilities do tech companies bear in creating jobs for this new era?
  • How has Google fundamentally changed journalism and how journalists do their jobs?
  • How could future immigration policies affect the engineers who fuel Google’s growth?

The event will end at approximately 2:00pm. As this event will be filmed for a TV broadcast, all guests will need to remain on site for the full duration. Free and an RSVP is encouraged.
