The Oakland VegFest is back for it’s fourth year.

As always, the VegFest is totally free and open to the public, and will feature awesome food, vendors, speakers, and a kids area.

Vegan Cheesemaking | Oakland Veg Fest 2018

MiyokoJoin Miyoko Schinner, author of Artisan Vegan Cheese and co-star of Vegan Mashup, in exploring the exciting new world of vegan cheesemaking at home.

You’ll learn to make several heart-healthy, plant-based cheeses, including a thick and delicious Cream Cheese, Buffalo Mozzarella, Ricotta, and a smokey chipotle Queso for nachos. All of the cheeses are oil-free to boot.
