Event Details

The H-1B, a visa program which allows high-skilled immigrants to work in the United States, has recently been the subject of much attention in the news media.

Numerous members of Congress on both sides of the aisle, including several from the California delegation, have introduced legislation that changes the structure and requirements of the program. Companies in Silicon Valley rely on H-1B visas to attract the best and the brightest talent and have argued that the program is essential to the growth of their businesses.

Free, but an RSVP is required.

Join the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce and FWD.us on H-1B ‘lottery day’ for an all-star panel to discuss the current state of the H-1B program and the path ahead for high-skilled immigration.
