Event Details

A fun six mile hike in search of beaches, batteries (the military kind), bridges and beer.

Meet in front of the Lands End Visitor Center, then follow Lands End Trail to Camino del Mar. Led by Jill Katz, you will walk via China Beach and Marshall Beach and check out some awesome houses along the cliff.

There is an observation area where you can view Battery Godfrey and Battery Boutelle. You will cross under the freeway and see the Golden Gate Bridge (you should know what a crush Jill have on that bridge). Those who are tired can catch a bus back to the starting point. Those that want to continue will walk to Crissy Field, past the Palace of Fine Arts and end up at Liverpool Lil’s for food and beer.

This is an A to B hike and it is a long 6-mile hike, but don’t worry, this will be fun.

Cancellation Condition: If it rains sideways but even so we would just look for rainbows.
