History for Half Pints (the kid kind, not the drinking kind) is a monthly family day at the California Historical Society in San Francisco, featuring music, games and of course, history.

The family day takes place every second Saturday of the month and is free with an RSVP, or if you’re a CHS member.

FREE with an RSVP, or CHS membership. Otherwise , $5 at the door.

December 2014 activities include:

• Send your friends and family holiday wishes at our Card Marking Station
• Proclaim your love for the holidays by creating your own celebratory banner
• Didn’t get to thank your California hero? Contribute to our ongoing art project
• Add your personal touch to the Yosemite landscape by adding to our Project, Yosemite Build
• Dress up as a Yosemite Adventurer at our Costume Corner

Attendance includes all craft supplies and light snacks.
