100 Foot Tall Film Night | The Great Wall of Oakland

For special events, and on select first Fridays during Oakland Art Murmur, the Great Wall of Oakland, a 100 ′x 100′ projection installation, illuminates the Uptown District with cutting-edge motion art from around the world.

The Great Wall of Oakland is located at the corner of Broadway and West Grand Avenue in downtown Oakland.

Home For The Holidays | 100 Foot Tall Film Night | The Great Wall of Oakland

The Great Wall of Oakland celebrates the season with the Second Annual “Home For The Holidays” celebration on the Great Wall on two nights in 2013 – Plaid Friday, November 29, 2013, and the December Oakland Art Murmur on December 6, 2013.

The smorgasbord of events include:

• The lighting of a very special Oakland Tree
• An interactive installation, “Not Too Public,” so you can send real-time messages to the 100′ Wall
• Holiday Wishes and Greetings from your Oakland neighbors
• Beautiful art videos
• Aerial dance performances by Bandaloop at 7 pm and 8 pm
