Santa Cable Car Pull

Fun annual tradition from Make-A-Wish, the folks who brought you “Batkid”
By - posted 12/1/2013 No Comment

At Brave the Bay on December 7, 2013, you might see an elf in striped tights jump into the Bay, or Santa Claus hauling a cable car instead of presents at this Santa Triathlon that’s co-presented with the SF Police Department.

And you may just see Batkid’s batmobile because this event is hosted by Make-A-Wish, the people who brought you Batkid.

Brave the Bay 2013
Saturday, December 7, 2013 (8:30am to 1pm)
Aquatic Park, SF
FREE for spectators, or fundraise to participate

  • Santa Walk and Fun Run (8:30am)
  • Santa Plunge in the Bay (10:30am)
  • Santa Cable Car Pull (11am to 1pm)
  • Cops & Coffee (9am to 3pm) – order an Irish Coffee at Buena Vista Cafe and get it served by a police officer. 100% of tips go to Make a Wish

Come as a spectator (it’s free to watch) or join the fun to help raise money for Make A Wish – It costs just $25 to do the walk or take a plunge in the bay, or $150 for a team of 6 to do the cable car pull and you’ll be helping grant wishes for more children with life-threatening medical conditions.
