The Women’s Committee of the Oakland NAACP will honor several generations of women leaders, past and present, by recognizing them for their achievements in various spheres.

Following the NAACP program, Cultivating Gardens will present health and wellness for women: a self-care experience through gardening, herbal infusions, yoga and meditation. Wellness is not just about free from sickness it also means being aware of healthy choices that gives us a totally fulfilled life.
